neXt!DecE caught cheating in ESL Balkan League

balkan league, esl, hd, home dominant, next, nextplease

The Romanian team has been disqualified from all Electronic Sports League events, due to DecE's cheating infraction.

neXtPlease! have been disqualified from both Intel Extreme Masters IV - European Championship and ESL Balkan League after Liviu 'DecE' Munteanu was caught cheating in last week's match against Home Dominant.

The Romanians were set to play the ESL Balkan League Final against maniaX.eSports, however today it has been announced that the team received 12 penalty points due to a cheating infraction. neXtPlease! has been immediatly removed from the tournaments, while Home Dominant will battle with maniaX for the ESL Balkan League title on the 8th of December.

In a statement given to next-please.ro, DecE explains that he cheated only because he thought the Bulgarians were using hacks aswell, and that he's planning to retire from professional gaming after this incident.

Read a few fragments of his statement bellow:

Quoting United State- Liviu 'DecE' Munteanu, ex-neXtPlease! Captain:

I don't know how to begin. I can't describe what I'm feeling right now.

Firstly, this was the biggest mistake I've ever done in my pro-gamer career, a mistake which erased everything I achieved in the past years.

About the match against HD, I could say that after the first map against them I already had alot of anger inside me. I ask you to carefully watch their POV demos from the group and semifinal matches, where they obviously used hacks like wallhack (this could be checked because they were aiming through the walls in many situations). Furthermore, you could notice that they were purposefuly loosing rounds so there won't be any suspicions.

Regarding my future as a pro-gamer - I don't think I'll continue playing Counter-Strike, considering that I've been disqualified from all the ESL competitions.

I'm sorry for ending my career this way, I apologize to my team mates, I apologize to my fans and I apologize to the organisation for making a bad image.

I'M SORRY!

DecE, which was also the team's captain, has been removed from neXtPlease!'s roster, leaving the team with only 4 players:

Ibrahim 'SeDaN' Sedan
Iulian-Andrei 'snapple' Constantin
Daniel 'SZR' Hohan
Ener 'ENERRR' Iasar
