DotA Pride League and Kael League are arguably the biggest DotA inhouse leagues and both leagues began their operation at approximately the same time. The formation of Kael League by former Virtus.Pro player, Yaroslay 'NS' Kuznetsov offers a series of high cash prizes while DotA Pride League by George 'Abby' Grecos is more community-based.

Since DotA Pride League started a few days before Kael League, it has been more dominant in the number of players, although smaller cash prizes were offered.

After being in the slump for a month, Kael has decided to go for gold and the hosted the DotA-Club Pro Series where NS' team, AEON.ru came up on top and keeps the $3,500 first place cash prize. Despite offering cash prizes comparable to LAN events, Kael is still not picking up.

After much discussions from both parties, the two leagues has decided to merge and NS will be added into the adminstration team of DotA Pride League to provide the Pride community with bigger cash prizes.
