Lyn defeats Happy for 3rd place

happy, lyn, wcg

Lyn has finished the highest he ever has in WCG and taken 3rd by defeating Happy in the consolation match

Korea, SouthJune 'Lyn' Park had previously admitted he hadn't trained at all for Undead before the tournament as Happy was the only professional undead in the tournament, but Orc has historically been Russian Fede- Dmitriy 'Happy' Kostin's least favorite match up and he was unable to defeat Lyn giving the Korean player the win.

Lyn made it to the third place qualifier by defeating Netherlands Manuel 'Grubby' Schenkhuizen in an epic three game match before being outclassed by China Weiliang 'Fly100%' Lu who is having the WCG of a lifetime. Happy beat China Xiaofeng 'Sky' Li in an incredible first round match and then beating ToD before losing to China Xuwen 'Infi' Wang in two games.

Happy must not have given himself much a chance in the third place decider as he tried a very strange Tier 1 tower rush in the second game that failed horribly.

Congratulations to Lyn for third place!

The finals between China Infi and Fly100% begins in just over three hours.
