After  Sofie 'nisse' Adolfsson left the team to focus more on her social life, Pink Zinic were in need of a player to compete in ESL Major Series Season V and Dreamhack Winter 2009.

But, after a long search, it has now been announced that the former Team Alternate superstar from Germany:  Julia 'Julie' Strunkowski will be joining the team and helping them to defend the Major Series title from other Female teams alike. Strunkowski is no stranger to the scene, making Pink Zinic's life a living hell while playing for Alternate in previous ESL Major Series, but now in her new home at Pink Zinic, her talent will bring fear to the current female scene.

Quoting  Julia 'Julie' Strunkowski:

”Hey everyone! I am the new part of Pink Zinic! First, let me introduce myself to you. My name is Julia Strunkowski, I’m 19 years old and I live in the beautiful city of Hamm, Germany. I can promise you, it feels really nice to be a new part of this team now. It is a lot of fun to play with the girls and I love them all! My goal for this team is to improve myself on the international top-level.  I am really excited to play the first event with those beautiful girls and I hope you will cheer (especially for me hehe) and this new line-up.”
