Kuroky replaces Maelk for SMM

Those who have been relishing the personal showdown between Maelk and Hyhy will have to be disappointed. It has now been confirmed that Kuroky will be replacing Maelk in SMM, as the latter has pulled out due to a number of reasons.
There has been much hype surrounding the 
MYM team lately and whether they will have the capabilities to perform in SMM against a large number of Asian teams. Today, 
Jacob 'Maelk' Toft-Andersen has officially pulled out from the MYM squad for the SMM event to give 
Kuro 'Kuroky' Salehi Takhasomi a starting berth.
With the change in lineup, we can expect to see star player Kuroky leading the MYM team out guns blazing, but whether they will be able to clinch a top spot at SMM is another matter, given the quality and quantity of the teams participating there. Certainly, MYM's chances look slightly improved after the addition of Kuroky; widely voted as 2008's best farmer, he may just be the necessary catalyst needed to propel MYM to crucial victories in the tournament.
Statement
"Jacob told us that he is not able to go to SMM, so I have to jump in for him. I am very happy to get this chance to participate in a great tournament like SMM. At the same time, I feel very sorry for Jacob not being able to attend his last LAN. I feel very comfortable playing with the MYM guys, although we didn't play much together, I already see the potential in our team, and I get along with them very well. I hope we can bring the title home. I believe we go there as underdogs, the Asians are gonna be ready and very well prepared, thats why I am really looking forward to playing them, it will be very interesting and fun for sure. Watch out everybody, we will be ready to fight you. Meet Your Makers."
Unfortunately, it appears that Maelk's time in the MYM DotA squad may be drawing to a close. Before SMM, he mentioned that SMM would be the last competition he would be participating in due to a mixture of personal and work committments. Now that he has even pulled out from his initial promise to participate in the event goes to show that perhaps the legend that has led the MYM squad to flawless victories on many occasions may come to pass somewhere in the near future.

My apologies to both the team, the fans as well as hyhy.
Initially I promised to put in the practice needed and was looking forward to going, but I soon found out my education wouldn't leave room for me to neither practice nor attend the event without seriously jeopardizing it. Kuro has lived up to all my expectations and the team is doing better than ever so fortunately for me it wasn't all that hard of a decision to make. This lineup is stronger than it would be with me replacing anyone in it. While it's sad that I won't be able to attend the biggest tournament to date, something Brian and I have been striving for all of our time within the competitive scene, it's not something I think too much about as I made the choice myself and you can rest assure I'm better off not going :) Lastly, I'd like to make a sincere apology to hyhy: He has the upperhand from our last encounter 1½ year ago and I am in no position to ridicule him when I'm not even able to face him on LAN again. However, I might still end up getting the last laugh when my boys tears his team apart. Good luck to both him and everyone else attending the event. no re
