ReMinD eliminated from PlayXP

kei, lyn, playxp, remind, shy, soccer

After the surprises of the last week in PlayXP occured, the tournament is down to its final 16

ReMinDKorea, South June 'Lyn' Park, Korea, South Sung Sik 'ReMinD' Kim, Korea, South Dae Duck 'Kei' Yoon and the now slumping Korea, South Shul Woo 'Shy' Park were safe from elimination in the first group stage by being in last season's top 4, but now its no holds barred as the next stage of the tournament begins. The groups have been announced and the top two players from each group will advance once again which will cut the tournament size to eight for the tournament bracket.

The matches are still best-of-one which will make upsets incredibly likely to happen once again.

Update: There will be a tie breaker for Group C which will happen November 19th at 12:30 CET to decide which 2 players will advance.

The other players through are bolded in their groups

I think A and B will be tough, and I actually like Templar to get out of Group C with WhO

At the time, Shy was playing awful and Templar was playing well. Look at Shy's shadowleague and WC3L results. Hasn't done anything in either season.

Shadowleague and WC3L aren't really good indicators of skill level. And considering what Shy can do compared to Templar, it was an easy pick of Shy > Templar

Did you really say WC3L is not a good indicator of skill level?

Point out a pro team and takes that as seriously as they once did and I will be extremely surprised.

Not to mention, it used to be the elite of Wc3, now you have teams like ieS in it (no offense to ieS, but they aren't a pro team) which have skilled players, but also very inconsistent as well, Sai went from wNv to ...well...

Its just like ENC...those players do not care at all about that event, not like a WCG or IEST or eStars or Blizzcon, etc.

Anyway, obviously putting Templar below Shy was a bad idea.

Sai just beat Infi 2-0 two times in a row on LAN at IEST. Inconsistency doesn't always mean a player isn't good (like Moon).

He hadn't won any of 8 matches in a row without playing any others. In fact he hadn't won a map in almost all of them.

Are you saying players don't care about online matches at all? Shy and FoCuS were WC3L co-MVPs not too long ago.
