MushI: EHOME is our biggest challenge

ct, interview, mushi, sgamer, winter, xigz, xtinct

myMYM is proud to bring you the translation of the interview of MushI conducted by Sgamer.

mushiRight after the disbandment of Mineski. My, Malaysian powerhouse Malaysia Cybertime has announced roster changes by adding two of Mineski's superstars, Malaysia XtiNcT and Malaysia xiGz while removing their primary ganker Malaysia Winter in the process.

Chinese website Sgamer has conducted an interview with the captain of Cybertime, Malaysia MuShI, to ask questions regarding their previous venture in ESTC and the new roster for SGNDT later in November. myMYM is  proud to bring you the translation of this interview.

Hi, I am a journalist from Sgamer. Do you mind introducing yourself since most people from the Chinese community do not know you?
Hi, my name is Mushi and I am 19 years old. I am currently playing for Cybertime and I play any positions including support and I have played DotA for four years now.

Who are the members of your former team and what role do they play?
Sharky - Carry.
Net - Support and play calling (Nanny).
Winter - Ganker.
Mushi - Carry and ganker.
I always feel that our team is a 4-man team because we can't seem to find a suitable 5th.

There has been rumors floating around saying iceiceice has left AEON to join Cybertime. Is this true?
I don't think so considering that xiGz and XtiNcT has just joined our team recently. Our roster will be me, Net, Sharky, XtiNcT, xiGz, and Sharky

Cybertime has underwent a lot of roster changes the past few months and the obvious one is the departure of Monk3y. Are there any internal problems within the team?
With Monk3y, there are little personality clashes between him and the team. Therefore, he left and we respect his decision. However, we quickly found a great replacement for him, Sharky from iNc`xLo.

It seems that there are a lot of roster changes going around the Malaysian competitive DotA scene. Wouldn't it bring a negative impact in overall?
Fortunately, my team has stayed together for quite a while now and besides, I am confident that we can take SMM with our new roster.

The SMM tournament this November will be quite a big gathering involving 3 continents of the world, Asia, Europe and America. Who do you think will be in top 3?
EHOME, iceiceice's team, and us obviously.

MYM will be participating in this tournament and it doesn't seem like you think that they are a threat. Why?
Because I believe the Asian style is much better than the European style. However, I am looking forward to play against them.

Have you developed any special tactics for SMM?
Of course there are. By the time the tournament comes, we will pick our best tactic to win the SMM title.

Which Chinese teams have you practised against and who do you think will be the biggest competitor?
We don't practice much with the Chinese teams but I think EHOME should be our biggest challenge.

How long do you guys train per day?
We usually play around 6 to 7 hours together. We tried training for 10 hours previously but it was too tiring.

Yeah I guess, you still have to work and rest. We have seen in photos that there are a lot of hot chicks in Malaysia. Do you have a girlfriend?
I personally prefer Thai girls. Unfortunately, I don't have enough time to get a girlfriend.

Do you have a soft spot for Thai girls?
It's a secret...

In ESTC Thailand, you guys lost to XtC in the finals. What seems to be the problem there?
We regret that we were not able to win the title. However, it was a mixed clan and we have only played together for 2 days and I am very impressed with our achievement. The cash prize between the first and second place is far too big though.

Yes, the difference in prizes are almost 10 times. It is very impressive that Cybertime has been unstable but is able to maintain a good record. How did you do it?
We are very hardworking in our preparations and we are willing to try out some really creative heroes everytime. I guess all our efforts are paying off.

What do you think of the current DotA version (6.64)? What kind of playstyle do you think it is suitable for?
This version is decent and I think the current DotA version is more inclined towards late gamers. I am looking forward to 6.65 though.

I hope you do great in SMM and thank you for this interview. Any last shoutouts?
The first day of SMM is my birthday so I hope this will be my gift and I hope Papaxiong and Iceiceice will be able to join the tournament.

By watching Ct's recent games against SB, i dont think that Ct can be beaten now... Just my opinion. Although waiting for some greatest clashes in SMM.

But seriously, look at Ursa... huge initial HP... can kill Roshan easily because of lifesteal mixing with Ursa's effect... Ursa skill consume few mana... IMO it's bad for the game to have a hero that can kill Roshan alone on lvl7. Less armor, less str gain and (maybe) adjust manacost of the spells, maybe nerfing the orb effect (probably making the dmg bonus to stop in a certain moment) could be done with her.

Lanaya could have some adjustments too. There was a moment at the game where SB caught Mushi alone. Like, 5x1. And he almost tanked everything and survived. IceFrog could adjust Refraction to work in another way... Don't know how, but he could.

for Lanaya, u need great skills+maneuverability+timing precision to perform great escapes @_@

as for Ursa, imho he is still ok as his negative side is he could hardly farm in a lane alone..
(of cz he could go jungling, bt thr's other jungling heroes too so i guess jungling shouldnt be added into comparison)

lastly, we rarely see both heroes in competitive DotA, & rarely see any1 complain bout them^^
