Before every match Sky played at the PGL he took a look into his magic book that helps him to calm himself down and concentrate. myMYM.com translated it!

His notebook contains his thoughts and strategies. Apparently it helps him to calm himself down and concentrate so that he can display his fullest potential. myMYM has translated the left page of Sky's notebook in the picture for you!

The Art of War 1. Get fully relaxed before the match starts and strictly keep in mind that don't chase for micro or think about how good can it be during... (covered by his hand). Just make the thoughts in your mind clear and constantly focus on changing strategies in order to adapt to the in-game situation. 2. Take a deep breath and relax the heart rate. Control emotions and mood! Follow your heart when you play and when you think! 3. The specifics and details of micro can be accomplished with instinct. But to win, one must think clearly about strategies and the composition of one's army. 4. Before the match, think about the strategies for the whole battle/game; during the match, think and execute the detailed strategies according to the opponent's. 5. Have more confidence in yourself! Actually, there are many times when the opponent is more afraid of you than you are of him. 6. The minor details can make the difference between victory and defeat. Think about important details in advance! You can keep the hope for victory only when you are able to adjust your state of mind along with everything else to a tip-top condition. It is only then that you will not have any regrets after defeat because you have already tried your best. |
