The Brazilian veteran became a free agent in December, when he had to make way for Carlos "KIKOOOO" Segal, who had decided to return to Made in Brazil's line-up almost two years after announcing his retirement from gaming.

Lima holds an impressive CV, having captained Made in Brazil to a first-place finish at GameGune 2008 in Bilbao, defeating mousesports in the Grand Final.

He will now be reunited with Olavo "cky" Napoleão and Bruno "bruno" Ono in a team that managed to defeat the 2006 ESWC champion in the Upper Final of Brasil Cup 3 last month.

Lima - who is now the third ex-mibr member in Firegamers' ranks - will fill the shoes of Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira, who has decided to leave for undisclosed reasons.

"I want to thank Nogueira for all his time at Firegamers, he always helped a lot and was always dedicated," Ono told Teamplay.com.br. "I hope he will do well in everything he decides to do from now on."

Firegamers has already begun practicing for KODE5 Brazil - which is yet to be announced - with Ono stating that Lima's arrival will help the team improve tactically.

"We will add his tactics to the ones we already have and see which ones suit our playing style better, we will try to make some changes in our anti-strat game."
