GamePlay without clan

bankrupt, gameplay, gameplay

According to current information of fragster.de the Finnish Gameplay.tv will need to find a new organization by the end of the year. Because of the financial crisis the Russian investors are not able to continue this project.

The Finnish top team around naSu and his brother lurppis - who joined the former Team Roccat just weeks ago - will be without an organization at the end of the year. Because of the financial crisis the Russian investors are not able to continue their support and the company won't renew the contracts with the Finnish players. It seems like Gameplay.tv is bankrupted.

After the sponsor loss of the ESWC is only days ago, this is the second incident where the financial crisis is the reason behind money issues in eSports. The distance between the online video-gaming business and the producing industry in this crisis is not as huge as it looked in the beginning. For the Finnish team this means there are just two weeks for theirselves to find a new organisation.

The current lineup:

Finland Tomi 'lurppis' Kovanen
Finland Niko 'naSu' Kovanen
Finland Max 'ruuit' Aspe
Finland Juuso 'contE' Sajakoski
Finland Samu 'plastE' Aalto
Finland Konsta 'kookas' Kaisla (Standin for EPS.sca)

this is sad they are among the most talented teams around and can make a lot or achievements if given a proper base to establish on....
but i think the global crisis effect is just an excuse can no company really put's in that much amount of money into esports its more like a secondary or even lower then that thing.... it's just that they want to cut it out until the whole thing gets over after that it's gonna come back again...

I think it's just a temporary thing which would be extended a bit on to different things.... the economy is showing good sign's now...
but it'll take atleast 2-3 years for proper stabilization.....

Lets hope more such incidents don't happen.....

In this world of sin i hope to surrender to the holy bliss.
