While many may still be babbling about the constant yet mouthwatering clashes between MYM]Grubby and WE.Sky, some have already drawn comparisons to their fellow racial counterparts – SK.Lyn vs WE.Infi.

The young Chinese Human player never failed to display his towering prowess during the PPS China vs Korea tournament, and even went on to clinch the top placing by defeating SK.Lyn 3 to 2 in the Grand Finals.

For Infi, this marked the third consecutive victory over SK.Lyn in the Grand Finals. The duo previously faced off at IEF2007 and this year’s World E-Sports Masters.

Yet, Infi rebuffed any suggestions that drew contrasts to the ‘Grubby vs Sky’ clashes.

“There is no relation or whatsoever with us and Grubby and Sky,” he told Replays.Net.

“Even though this is my third time defeating Lyn in the Grand Finals, I’d have to pay back eventually. Perhaps in our next 3 clashes, it could be Lyn that wins.”

WE.Infi - Will he continue his streak over Lyn?

The World Elite man also couldn’t help but express his moment of joy.

“Honestly I feel very good about it,” he said. “Now I have the chance to interact with my fans on the forums.

“I was very sleepy when I played against Lyn since I had to attend a media event from 8 in the morning all the way until 10 at night. I didn’t manage to give my best, and I’m sure Lyn didn’t perform well either. His best game was the one on Terenas Stand.”

Just as contented as he was for himself, Infi was also happy to see compatriot mouz.TH000 claiming the third place for China. After all, they had a slight latency advantage.

He said: “I don’t think Chinese players are better than Korea's, but I do believe the general standard is somewhat similar.

“Since most of the hosts are from China, we had an advantage over them.”
