TGL announces WC3 World Cup

A new solo tournament has been announced today by the TGL. The Ballerpoker.com WC3 World Cup will feature an overall prizemoney of 6,000$ and 32 participants. Besides the 20 invitations like 
Grubby and 
Sky players can grab one of the 12 remaining spots in three qualifiers. The first qualifier is taking part on Sunday, 7th December, 14:00 CET - the only requirement is an account on the TGL homepage.
After the qualifiers have been ended the tournament will start with a groupstage - eight groups with four players in each one will determine the 16 participants in the playoffs being held in Best-of-Three and Double Elimination. The winner receives 3,000$.

Nice.. very clear explanation. More clear than the one on SK website.
Wow.. all the best gamers are taking part in this one! I guess the month of December is quite quiet for progamers as compared to the rest of the year (so hectic). The only LAN event in Dec is the NGL-one as far as I know.. but PGL is 1st of January or something... Laugh as much as you breathe and love as long as you live.

It sounds like a really nice tournament but, <_< couldn't they have invited 12 and let 20 qualify it's kinda lame that the list of invite is retardedly huge then the qualifying spots. Makes it more fair as well for the other good pla
