Death Trap in WC3L Qualifications

While the WC3L Qualification XV league is just about two days away, ESL administration team has announced a new map pool for the tournament.
The first and most important change will be the addition of a new map. Death Trap is a four-player map with six expansion spots, two goblin merchants and a tavern. You can download the map from ESL site.
Here's a picture of it, issued by ESL:
That aside, three classic maps are to be removed from the mappool: Gnoll Wood, Lost Temple and Terenas Stand will not be used in the upcoming qualifications.
The new changes leave the mappool as the following:
- Echo Isles
- Turtle Rock
- Twisted Meadows
- Secret Valley
- Melting Valley
- Ancient Isle
- Death Trap
The map pool for 2v2 games will remain unchanged:
- Avalanche
- Gnoll Wood
- Lost Temple (RoC)
- Turtle Rock
- Twisted Meadows
Chances are, the mentioned map pool will be used in the next WC3L season, as well.

Humans are going to get wrecked in this.
With no TS or LT, veto will always be MV, and then what is Human supposed to pick as 2nd map? EI? TR? Orc similarly, with no LT or GW, SV will always get vetoed and then they will probably pick EI. Either way it leaves them with only 1 map with a slight racial advantage. Undead made out really well here, TM, TR, SV all good for them in most matchups. Orc and Human really got hit pretty hard. We'll see who Death Trap favors. | |

TS is a really good and fun map. LT and GW are both pretty imbalanced maps. LT fe and font really favours hu and orc, gw 4 shops with easy items and font is just too imbalanced facing bm bs.
New maps is cool though so far. | |

Its nice to see new maps appearing. It always makes room for new strategies. Though I will miss Teranas Stand.

It's a pity they removed Terenas Stand but it was a good decision to remove Gnoll Wood and Lost Temple in the 1v1 mappool. New maps are always cool.
