MYM adds LUq and pionas; removes kuben
cs, kuben, luq, mym, pionas
As MYM's CounterStrike-team removed 
Lukas 'LUq' Wnek last week, an entire CS-scene were left shellshocked. Having a weekend to ponder over the decision, TaZ, NEo and Loord have decided to revert the removal of Lukas, taking him back into the team from today.
Instead, Jakub 'kuben' Gurczyński has been let off in the pursuit for a better team composition. To replace him, MYM.cs have acquired Filip 'pionas' Pionka from Frag eXecutors, to fill in the last place in the lineup.
Pionka has been an integral part of the 2nd best Polish team, Frag eXecutors, for quite some time, having had his International debut at the ESWC 2008 this summer in San José.
The team has issued a statement to clarify the situation:
"In our attempt to find the reasons behind our bad results, and lack of team spirit outside the game, we took a hasty decision and removed Lukas last Friday. We did so, because we wanted to be in time for DreamHack which is in less than 14 days. After cooling down, we have thought the situation over once again, and we feel that Lukas can bring more to the table than Jakub can. Jakub has been a core part of our lineup for more than two years, and he is a good friend to all of us. Unfortunately we feel that we have to exchange him to be able to develop in the future. The old fans of us, know that we have always had problems and arguments when changing our roster. This time was not different. To replace kuben we have taken in pionas, and we feel that he brings with him a thirst, commitment and a hunger that can motivate us even more. We would like to address the accusations of this change being reasoned by company pressure; it can be said simple: it is OUR choice. We felt we had a problem, a problem that couldn't be solved with words alone. Actions speak louder than any word and we hope that we can already show you some of the NEW action at DreamHack in 12 days!" Lastly, We would like to thank kuben for all this time with us, for his dedication and effort he put in the team. It might be hard to understand what’s going on inside the team, however it was pretty normal for me. We had a lot of arguing and problems in those past 8 years of playing, but there's one thing that made us stick together - it's CS. And I have no bad feelings towards the team at all. It's time to look forward and we will work very hard to get back on top. I would like to thank all who supported me at this time - it meant a lot for me and made me stronger for sure. |

I don't know. The team knows best, but the year wasn't as bad as it looks like. I mean they won the ESWC , they got the 2nd plave in Dubai. Winning Dreamhack and The Gathering are two more events!
And on Wcg they lost against mtw, who finally won the whole tournament. Anyways I'm glad to see, that LUq stays in. In my oppinion he is one of the few dinamic pla Kepp it up guys MYM.PGS FIGHTING!!! :q
