It's only a few days since mouz|Twistd confirmed that mouz|Drayich was not going to attend to this year's Dreamhack winter. Now the team announces further shocking news - Drayich temporarily stepping down as team captain of Mousesports and from the DotA scene due to his real life.

With a new child coming along and new work, Drayich could simply not find the time to keep up with the rest of his team and also live up to his team captain duties.

When you look back a couple of weeks, you are not that surprised about this news, seeing that Drayich rarely practised with his team, played in tournaments or even hung around IRC. Nevertheless it is still shocking to see one of the best team captains stepping down, even if it's just temporarily and we will most likely see a mouz team that needs to adjust to this. Gosugamers caught up with Drayich today for a quick chat about it all. They also talked with the newly appointed team captain of mouz, Twisted.

Why did you decide to temporarily leave the dota scene?

My strenght as a teamcaptain and player of mousesports is my great spirit and leadership. Due to my current reallife situation, having another kid coming in februari, my new house and my new job i lack that spirit. I got other things on my mind, thats why i step down and hopefully i can grow it back over time.

You're as you said, the captain of mouz and also the main picker/banner in the matches, will the team keep its top shape without you?

They will have issues, but i belive that they will come over them and come out even stronger. Now they also dont need to have me feeding in the games just cuz i can pick heroes.

I hope so!

You were appointed as the co-leader, do you know why he chose you?

Because im the only one in mouz not completely fucked in the head.

Will Drayich leave a wide space in the team?
