MGC 2008 in Wuhan, China is officially over, everyone had fun, went home and started writing! Not long after you have seen Jolie's blog on MGC 2008, myMYM.com translated and releases the English version of Ks.int and Ks manager, Ks-eryc's MGC 2008 diary!

Unforgettable memories, first times of Ks.int

This will be the first time for Ks.int to be in China, the first time leading them, the first time to meet them, the first time to see loyal Jolie and Puppey and the first time a Chinese player joins Ks.int. Many first times between Ks.int and me! So I decided to write a diary to share my sweet memories because first times are unforgettable.

20 Oct 2008:

After trying it over and over again, it is certified that there is no way to bring Ks.DotA to China, so I went to apply my own visa. After a long queue, the staff told me that they need to see the flight tickets, so I went to buy the tickets, and how lucky that I got the last ticket, and rushed back to the Singapore embassy 5 minutes before they close!
"It is done now mister, please come and collect your visa tomorrow", said the girl at the embassy. "Is that certain?!" I reconfirmed with her, and it was a yes! This will be my first time to China, very nice. So I announced Kingsurf Gaming to be named "金胜" in Chinese that night.

21 Oct 2008:

I went to get my visa once I woke up, went for some meetings at the company, met few customers, hoping that I can get everything done before I head to China. After work I went to Razer's HQ and took 6 jackets and uniforms, went back home and pack things up. That is the day that Ks met EHOME in the first round of PD11 playoffs, and before that I was busy trying to prepare news about Dk-Mag3 and Bouncy joining Kingsurf. Watching how a team formed in such a rush took down strong opponent like EHOME without any training makes me feel confident. I am worried because the same goes to Ks.int as Gunz, Horon and 2009 is new and have not trained together before.

22 Oct 2008:

I was too busy at the night before departure that I have not slept, early in the morning at 6am I head to Singapore International Airport and arrived at 7. It is very boring to be alone there, so I called Papaxiong. Besides some usual chat, I asked him for details of other participating teams, especially Fnatic, because we both thinks that Fnatic will have the best chance to win MGC. Suddenly Papaxiong told me that he recall a girl that called him also at the airport, and he missed her. After that, our conversation quickly transform into "broke-back mountain style" and I hang the phone right after that...disgusting...I'm not a gay!

Finally I saw the plane and I boarded it. Sitting beside the window, I felt very worried and nervous, I tried to clean up my mind, but when the plane take-off, I couldn't hold my mind anymore. "China, here I come!"

I had a 5 hours stop in Beijing before my flight to Wuhan, and it is boring. I went out and had a short walk, rain just stopped, and it was freezing cold. After that I went to eat something, sat there and recap what I discussed with Papaxiong until the plane arrives.

I arrived at the players hotel at Wuhan Optical Valley at 11.50pm, met up with the "old friends". Jolie, Horon and Gunz's mood was really good, we chatted for a while in Jolie's room, everyone was so high and started crap talking. "I'm starving, haven't ate anything good today" I said. "Ok, we go for supper then!" Jolie suggested. No doubt, nice team leader! As I walked out the room, Horon and Jolie started to play wrestling, I was speechless when I saw those 2 kids, just when I wanted to tell Gunz to go with me first, he joined them, and played happily on the floor. On our journey to search for food, Horon started to perform his "Russian Jump" and down he goes, fell down on the road, everyone laughed so hard.

After half an hour of searching, we figured out that all the restaurants were closed, so we called a cab and asked him to take us to somewhere supper spots. The weather is really cold out there, people were enjoying their food in restaurants, except for us, our table was outside the shop. We ordered some dishes and beers. Finally Ks.int can gather up and enjoy meals.

"What are you people doing here?" suddenly a mid-aged man yelled at us. "What the fuck you want?" Gunz shouted back, I told Gunz to stay low and continued to enjoy our food. "Can't you listen?" That man yelled again, Gunz and the others couldn't stand anymore, I stopped them and went to talk with the man. He said that his friend got beaten up by some foreigners so he did not want to see any foreigners on that street. I replied to him that we were there for the food and we did not want to make problems, so we are not leaving because of him. Then he wanted Gunz to apologize to him. After some time, I realize that this can't be solved, so I said "We are here for supper, not trouble, we will leave whenever we want!" Then we took some empty beer cans and chased after that guy, he was afraid and ran away. "What he told you, aren't you scared?" The customers and shopkeeper asked me. I told them it's ok, and continued drinking. Jolie and the others then asked me what the crazy guy said, I did not tell them the truth, I said he was drunk, to avoid tragedy, they might chase after that guy and go "first blood".

At 3am midnight, we bought some alcohol and and started drinking again in Jolie's room. These people are really addicted, and of course, I can't fall too much behind, you jump, I jump; you drink, I drink :).

Early in the morning, the phone rang. "Hey eryc I'm 2009" Gosh, I slept until 2009...not bad...haha...After that Xiao A from Sgamer came too. He greeted us, took some photos then we went to Optical Valley Plaza for breakfast. The weather is really nice, this is my first time to a cold country like that, very special. Wuhan Optical Valley looks really cool too!
