MYM at Blizzcon 2007!

The well known Blizzcon event will be held between the 3rd and 4th of August in the US. During this great event many people have the chance to see some new things about the upcoming Blizzard Blockbuster StarCraft 2 and World of Warcraft.

As you all might know some of the MeetYourMakers guys are there to bring you live updates for the different Blizzard tournament which will be held in the disciplines StarCraft, Warcraft 3 and World of Warcraft. The best players from all over the world will give their best in these tournaments and try to secure the victory. Our own Korea, South MYM]Moon, who won the Warcraft 3 World War Summer Grand Prix will participate in the Warcraft 3 tournament along with players like SK.ReMinD or France 4K^ToD. Right in the first round of this event we are able to see a clash of the titans as our Nightelfstar MYM]Moon faces the well known orc player Netherlands 4K^Grubby.

The Canadian Canada Random MYM.Testie represents MeetYourMakers in the StarCraft competition where he faces the Korean protoss player Korea, South Reach in the first round of this tournament, while our newly signed World of Warcraft team participates in the Arena Season 1 Finals!

Both tournaments the Warcraft 3 and the StarCraft are held in a double elimination system while each match is played in a best of three mode.

Could somebody explain to me how competive wow works? I mean do you have to build up a character? At the same realm? Isnt it basically just about whoever spended most time finding the best items? Im curious, coz frankly it seems like a joke to me! Remember to brush your teeth!

Man, the match delay between Grubby and Moon was insane. Match was suppose to start at 1 PM PST and it starts at like 2:30 PM PST. And like 10-15 minutes into the game, Grubby's keyboard reseted. So the match was called off. At least the 2nd try Moon won =P

Hmm, you can get next to best gear from arenaing and getting arena points to buy gear. The only better items you'll get is probably from Illidan (which maybe 10 guilds have killed worldwide), none of which are probably PvP due to the amount of time it would take. Deciding factors are usually class lineup (which have direct counters), luck and teamwork. Regardless it shouldn't be competitive, rofl.
