Even though DreamHack didn't announce the DotA-tournament for DreamHack Winter, along with the rest of the tournaments, there is indeed going to be one, aswell as the traditional WC3- and SC-tournaments.
A few moments ago, the renowned RTS-site GosuGamers.net announced that both StarCraft, WC3 and DotA are once again included at the Swedish monsterlan.
Just like last edition of DreamHack, there will be around 3,000€ for the winning team in DotA, while 2nd and 3rd takes home around 1,000€ and 500€ respectively.
The news on GG.net doesn't hold any information about map-versions or format of the tournament, but with over 1½ month until the event, there is a good chance of seeing another stable map than 6.52e for the games.
In WarCraft III, the prize purse is also the same as last edition, meaning that SaSe will scoop another ~2,000€ if he wins the tournament. Second and third are rewarded ~1,000€ and ~400€.

True. :/ Dota deserve an upgrade in prize money, the community has done quiet a lot to get it where it is now and the prize money given to the team is close what 1 pla
