Sonkie wins WCG USA

As WCG Grand finals gets closers comes the end of national qualifiers. This weekend it was WCG USA to decide which of it's players will represent the country at the Grand finals in Cologne, Germany. The Warcraft 3 player representing the US this year is 
Sonkie. He has recently won Battle.net Season 6 Americas and now also WCG USA. Sonkie came on top of his group and was send to loser bracket after a defeat to Shriek. Sonkie then faced Shriek in the overall finals where he had to win 2 best-of-3 series in order to win. Sonkie took the finals winning 4 consecutive games.
A total of 10 players were split into 2 group of 5. Players had to face each other by playing a Bo3 round and the 2 top players from each group moved to a double elimination bracket.
