NWL Finalist mouz.Fly100% is confident to taste his first major tournament victory this Sunday, when he faces off against MYM]Grubby in the Grand Finals.

The 21-year-old Chinese went against all odds last week, taking down the likes of SK.ReMinD as well as hot-favorite MYM]Moon. In fact, he emerged triumphant in both matches in the most convincing fashion, winning 3 to 0 and 3 to 1 respectively.

However, Fly100% attributed his stupendous victories to proper preparation, along with the right mindset.

“I always felt that I had a chance to defeat Moon. Obviously, Moon had a better chance to win, and it was a really good feeling to have won that match, because it proved that hard work pays off,” he said.

“Despite practicing a lot against Night elf players, I had to make sure that I managed to perform my best against Moon. So even if I lost, I would have no regrets.”

The recent NGTV All-stars winner tends to also agree with critics bashing NiceGameTV for selecting a map pool much favoring the Orc players.

He continued: “Actually, I believe that Orcs has an edge over the Undeads and Humans on the new maps, but not against Night elves.

“During PGL, I practiced a lot on maps like TG, SD and MV, and I know those maps very well. It’s good for me that SaSe isn’t playing in this tournament, because he beats me 70% of the time on those maps.”

For many, it may have been tantalizing to witness a Moon vs Grubby Grand Finals in Korea. But a clash between two of he world’s finest Orc players battling for the honor of the horde isn’t so bad either.

The pair recently took on each other several weeks ago at the second groupstage phase of NWL, where Grubby won the best-of-1 series. Yet, Fly100% holds the sleek reputation of consistently knocking his Orc brothers out of most tournaments.

“I have shifted my training back to Orc-mirrors now,” he revealed. “I practice about 6 hours daily.”

“Although I don’t harbor any hatred for Grubby anymore, but I am really eager to win this, because Grubby is also a very important opponent for me.

“For Orc-mirrors, whoever is in the better shape that day will win. Whenever I play against any Orcs, I feel that I have a 50% chance to win. But I think I’ll win this time, because I’ve already promised some people that I will win the Grand Finals”.

Due to the tight schedule of NWL, the Consolation Finals will be held on this Saturday, 4th of October at 1200CET offline in Seoul, Korea, while the Grand Finals will be played online the next day, the 5th of October at 1200 CET as well.
