G7 approves viOlet transfer to SK

dooki, expertise, sk, violet

The extended transfer saga of Korea, South Orc viOlet from China eXpertise to Internationa- SK-Gaming has finally been completed today following an official approval from the G7.

The federation represented by seven of the world’s largest gaming organizations and several other prominent individuals, has voted whether or not the 17-year-old Korean was allowed to join SK-Gaming. In the end, there were a total of 8 votes favoring viOlet, while none voting against him.

This move will also allow SK-Gaming to field their latest acquisition next week at the WC3L against Germany aTTaX, should they decide to utilize the young teenager.

However, United State- DooKi, manager and owner of China Team eXpertise has expressed his disappointment at viOlet's decision.

He told myMYM.com: “I think we knew he would eventually go to SK.

“We didn’t really plan to force him to stay. It was more an issue of us already giving him his salary then leaving the day after.

“But we have already replaced him with xiaOC a week ago.”

It is also believed that viOlet was rather unethical, transferring to three organizations – China eX, Korea, South fnatic and Internationa- SK-Gaming within a week, while still under the contract of eXpertise.

“He was [under contract],” DooKi added.

“But he said he didn’t sign it, and either he changed his signature for SK or for us planning to leave later so they didn’t match up.

“Nonetheless, we would still like to wish him the best of luck even after all the trouble.”

viOlet refused to comment on this matter.

The SK-Gaming roster looks as follows:

Korea, South SK.reis (Manager)

Korea, South Orc SK.Lyn
Korea, South Nightelves SK.ReMinD
Korea, South Nightelves SK.SoJu
Korea, South Undead SK.ReiGn
Germany Human SK.Miou
Korea, South Orc SK.viOlet

I wouldn't go so far as SK did, the player isn't even that good to beging with and yet he couses so much trouble ? The appropriate thing would have been just to let him stay clanless for a while to actually make a worthy decision... he got lucky this time but this shouldn't be commemorated like this

There's no luck involved, legally since he didn't sign any contract. You always gota look at things by papers, and legally, so really there's no luck, and almost an absolute easy to make decision that he has the rights to switch teams as much as he wants.

I don't know about salary part though. I guess they were stupid not to force him into contract before paying him a salary.

Gaming contracts don't hold up in court. The judges don't take them seriously. Contracts in e-Sports are a joke.

no it's not, you don't have to study law to know this. Gaming contract is a legal contract, and all incomes from gaming tournaments are still considered income, taxes still apply.

I don't know how old you are, but i am past a certain age, you should at least know that these gaming companies that makes decent-huge profits are still considered businesses, any contracts made are still within corporation laws. I don't know what country you are from, or what education basis you have, a legal contract is a legal contract regardless of the company's service. Why would a fully functional gaming company, with income, media-exposure not have valid contracts.

When did you become the judge to decide which contract's a joke and which isn't. Contracts are contracts, if the contract is made within legal provision and procedures, it's a contract. Judges are impartial, they don't give a shit what the company does, and especially a gaming company. I can see how a contract wouldn't valid if it's for some illegal company or whatever.

Go to school man

i wasn't replying to you, but to other dude who says a contract means nothing because of the company's service being a gaming industry.

Just a sneaky korean, lack of oriental honour, he disgraces the asians in general in breaking what we pride ourselves on - a sense of medieval honor (well at least in movies).
