The World Esport Games' organizers are about to host a tournament format called "World Esport Masters" in China, more exact in the city of Hangzhou, capital of the Zhejiang province.
From October 26th up to the second of December eight world-class Counter-Strike teams will clash to fight each other and prove once again what the ranking structure looks like and who takes the reins. Furthermore a total prizepurse of more than $60, 000 US Dollar (the prize money varies from 60K to 70K according to XplayN's information) will make the teams eager to come home victorious.
Rumors are circulating that
fnatic as well as
MeetYourMakers will be invited to the exclusive LAN event, however,
mTw.dk is the first team to be announced officially that received an invitation to Hangzhou.
All in all the tournament's procedure is intended to have a regular groupstage followed by a single-elimination bracket.
Up to know it's obscure whether a Warcraft III competition is proposed or if the organizers are going to set new standards regarding the World Esport Masters event back in 2006, where tournament in both disciplines were hold.
Stay tuned for more information!

this has always been good for cs teams and it really shows the dedication of some since many teams who have been expected to do good there in the past have ended up falling short
