"Teleexpress" is one of the most known newscasts in East Europe, especially in Poland. With daily broadcastinghours at 5.00 pm at TVP1, the first national television channel in Poland, the show's popularity is so enourmous that every fifth person follows the current affaris (seven million households). This is actually the second TV appearance of MeetYourMakers' Counter-Strike team in Teleexpress.

Both Lukas "LUq" Wnek and Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas were interviewed by Maciej Orlos, Moderator of Poland's great TV newscast, Teleexpress. They talk about topics such as the professionalism in esports as well as their recent success in San Jose, where they were able to defend their world champion title.

Sport in "Teleexpress" - we start with esports today, professional competitions with professional video game players. Every day there is more popular disciplines arise regarding video games. In fact, we have the best players in the world.

A year ago esports as a whole market made a total turnover of more than five billion dollars. The best players are from Asia actually. But also Europe has great locations for the new culture, for instance Germany, where esport competitions are broadcasted live in television. The Electronic Sports World Cup in San Jose, USA, which took place a week ago, stated that the best players in Counter-Strike, one of the essential video games in esports, are from Poland. Team Meet Your Makers came out on top of the tournament as the first team in history defending their title in Counter-Strike.

Next to me are two of the Champions from Team MYM Lukas "LUq" Wnek and Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas:

Maciej Orlos, Moderator: Esport in Poland is not as developed as in other countries at the moment, but still you achieved great successes. How is that possible?

TaZ: We are playing this game for eight years now. Since three years we are professionals, and treat our hobby like a normal job. It’s simply great.

Moderator: So, you are professional gamers?

LUq: We have signed contracts, our sponsors pay the travel expenses to events, and also the whole hardware we play with is sponsored as well. Basically we can focus 100% on our training and preperations.

Moderator: But you didn’t sign the contract in Poland, did you?

TaZ: That's true, we have signed the contracts with a Danish organization - one of the biggest esport organizations in the world.

Moderator: You were at the world cup of esports in the United States last week and you won. How often do you attend tournaments?

LUq: Huge events will be held quite often. Normally we pack our bags at least once every month. Right now we are planning to travel to Dubai, China and Los Angeles, with breaks sometimes as short as 2 days, so yes, the schedule is very tight.
