R.i.P - Kasper 'TazZ' Sørensen's Funeral on Sunday

Kasper's family has informed us that Kaspers funeral will be held on this sunday, 26th August 2007 at 11:00 AM. They are aware that it is on short notice and that many people won't be able to come, but of course all of his friends that can make it are invited and appreciated.

It is with tears in our eyes and an unimaginable sorrow and sadness that we have to inform his friends´here on MYM, his co-workers and the whole community - that our beloved 
Kasper 'TaZz' Sørensen, according to his little sister, has been found dead yesterday (Wednesday, Aug. 1st) on the Cradle Mountain in Tasmania. At the moment this is all we know, as no news has been released anywhere due to the respect for that his family and closest friends are informed first - We will therefore await their blessing of our further involvement and let them know that we are 1000's of people all over the world that are sharing their loss, pain and tears.

It is with deep sorrow and despair, that we have to announce that the search for our beloved friend, Kasper Kataoka 'TaZz' Sørensen, has been stopped due to the Tasmanian winter kicking in...Search will, according to Tasmanian authorities be continued when the winter is over, which means weeks or maybe months. His father and brother are returning today to Denmark as hopes have faded out and there is nothing more that momentarily can be done. We here at MYM, Regroup Esports are still praying and hoping for a miracle and we will until all hopes are over and out, or until Kasper is found in one way or the other keep this news open and on top, first of all to show how much Kasper means to us as a co-worker and friend, to support his family and to show how much we love him from of all our hearts, but also to signalize that it isn't over till the fat lady has sung, we believe in miracles!

This is one of the saddest news I had ever had to write - A close friend and valuable teammember of the MYM family has gone missing in Tasmania, Australia. Pray with us for his safe return.
Kasper 'TaZz' Kataoka Sorensen has not gotten back from a mountain trip he attended solo about 2 weeks ago. His backpack with his camping gear and passport were found 5 days ago on the hill, and police as well as hundreds of volunteers are currently searching for our dear friend.
Chances are getting worse and worse each day, as the tempeatures at Cradle Mountain now go below 0 degrees at night and windspeeds as fast as 100 km/h. The helicopter search had to be stopped due to the bad weather, but hundreds of volunteers signed up for the ground search to help the police forces that started the search on sunday.
Kasper was on a half year trip around the world with stops in Japan, Australia and New Zealand. At the beginning of this month he travelled to his last stop - Tasmania. His last contact with us was on July 3rd, which was also around the time when he set out to challenge Cradle Mountain.
We all here at MYM pray and hope that he will be rescued safely. Our thoughts go out to his family in this very difficult time.

I could never attend a funeral of a person i didnt know very well, but the fact that i talkedto tazz several times makes me so sad, i cant believe it. I surely hope for a nice funeral, its always better to see our beloved friends go away with peace.

I am Kaspers father. We all of Kaspers family are very grateful for your warm words and thoughts. It has been a long and hard time for us, since we got to know Kasper was missing in Tasmania until he came home in a coffin 25 th. Aug.
Kaspers funeral took place the following day, 26 th. Aug. Many of his friends participated in the church, about 150 people, and most of them attended afterwards the memorial gathering arrangement. We feel very happy and pound of Kasper, as he was beloved by so many friends. Markus alias Army told us, that MYM team manager dedicated the championship after the competition the last week end in Germany. We are very appreciated for this gesture from MYM. At last we wish to say again thanks to all of you for the wonderful friendship to Kasper. Best regards Kaspers family If i cant kill you with my M4 ILL!! errh POKE YOU IN THE EYE

Kasper and I knew each other from Raven Shield, years ago. I didn't hear about this till now and I am overwhelmed by it. When I was thinking back of playing the game, he came to my mind, because he and Army were the people that kept the community together for so long which gave us many hours of joy.
