Elfittaja wins WCG Finland

The Finnish national qualifiers of the WCG took place at this year's Assembly with eight players vying for a spot to represent the country at this year's WCG Finals in Cologne, Germany.
These eight players were divided into two groups of four, with the top 2 of each group advancing to a single elimination phase. All games were played in a best-of-3 series. However, there were several participants who failed to show up like cast and former MYM player, Konna.

Finally, the third spot goes to 
Seinis who beat 
Fuzer with a score of 2-0. But final was success for Elfittaja who earned his ticket to Germany, Cologne.
"At first i was supposed to attend the event for fun, as i havent played WC3 at all anymore. But the organisers wanted players to pay their own expenses so i didnt find it to be a good investment", says former MYM player Konna why he didn't come to WCG Finland qualifiers to Assembly.

So you are one of the few undeads to qualify WCG, so do you think that this gives you edge for not having to play Undead mirrors at Grand finals? Your next big event is ENC finals. What are your expectations to how Finland will succeed this year? What you think about WCG using "old maps" instead of fresh new maps that Blizzard implemented? What is your expectations at Grand finals? |
