MYM.cs to defend ESWC title in San Jose

Initially MYM.cs was denied the right to defend their ESWC title in San Jose, but a threeway dialogue between ESWC, MYM and PGS will now see the Polish team get their deserved invite for the Grand Finals.
The case has been one of the most discussed this summer, as the MeetYourMakers CounterStrike-team was denied a direct invite for ESWC Grand Finals. The problem arose as the team had swapped PGS for MYM in the fall, thus failing to stay with the same organization that they had won the title with.
Even though PGS had announced they would not support a new CS-team, the ESWC still rejected MYM's request to get the spot. As MYM failed to show up at the Polish ESWC-qualifier because of the KODE5-finals, the team's last chance to claim a spot in the Grand Finals was at the Masters-event in Paris.
As the team couldn't claim a top 3 finish in the French event, the players were poised to miss the event. The unimaginable scenario where the ESWC wouldn't have a defending champion, was now almost reality. Therefore the ESWC, MYM and PGS sat down to find a solution.
As of the 31st of July, PGS.MYM has therefore accepted a direct invite to the ESWC Grand Finals to defend the title from 2007.
