e-Stars Seoul has returned in 2008, and once again the spectators are in for a treat. Six of the best WarCraft-players in the world and six of the best CS-team in the world, will battle it out over the next three days. The goal is to find out who is better; East or West?

To do that, there has been created a special playing-format for the event, which includes tactical choices, surprises and deception. The tournament is split up in two different game-modes:

• Deathmatch
• Threesome

The Deathmatch enforces the King of the Hill approach. Two teams will duke it out against each other, and the winner proceeds to the next match, while the loser is out. The losing side will then put one of its remaining participants up against the "King". This goes on until either East or West has three wins.

In the Threesome, there is only three submatches. The maps for each submatch are known, and the coaches will decide which of their own players they will start in which game. The winner of the threesome will be the side that has the most wins (atleast two).
