SK|Tentpole: "Whiskey is a hobby of mine"

elc, sk, tentpole

The newly opening of Esport League of Champions site has released a deep interview with no other than Sweden Kristoffer 'Tentpole' Nordlund, who is mostly known for his past time in both fnatic and NiP-Gaming.

Kristoffer managed to express himself in different ways, revealing secrets of his private life till his career as a professional Counter-Strike player.

He will be seen at the ESWC Grand Final in San José, USA next month, together with his team-mates from SK-Gaming as they will be competing against some of the worlds best teams. Below you'll find a small selection of the questions asked over at The ELC.

Who is Tentpole outside the virtual world; what do you do in your sparetime? What are your hobbies and interests? What does a normal day look like in your life?

"A normal day for me starts with waking up at around 11 am. I usually take a little walk before breakfast to jump start the day, but if the weather is really bad or I don't feel like it, I just start the computer and watch the news with a nice cup of coffee in my hand."

What’s the story behind your nickname?

"I came up with my nickname many years ago when I badly wanted a new one. I sat at the local internet café thinking about what I wanted to call myself when I suddenly saw the “no camping” spray mark in Half-Life and somehow thought of Tentpole :)"

What are your goals to achieve with SK?

"My goals are simple, win everything you can possibly win in CS and then some. Might sound easy, but it sure as hell ain't. A while back, for example 2003, there were only one or two teams that would win everything, whereas the teams of today are so much more evenly matched. Managing to be a part of SK being the single best team in the world again would be my best achievement by far.

I also think it's important to be a part of taking the CS scene and eSports in general up a notch with all kinds of contributions. Making eSport known worldwide, by everyone, is a goal every single gamer should help to reach."
