GamePlay TV announces groups

The Russian GamePlay TV League with $400,000 prize pot has published the groups of the first qualification round. Most games will be played live in the studios in Moscow.

For each game, six finalists will participate in the grand final. The six players will played out until mid-March where the grand final will be held from then till mid-April of next year.

Though the league is open to every player and teams of the world, but since the matches will be held in moscow on a weekly basis, the participants are mostly Russians, with a few Ukraine players.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted

With only 11 registered players, the organizers decided to put the 2 highest standing players in the seeding directly in the main round while the remaining nine players have to battle it out in 3 groups. The first two players of each group will advance.
