New team on WC3 scene - Apoc.BallerPoker

apoc, ballerpoker, blade, fury, kot, source

It is always great to see new professional teams emerging from the shadows to show their power on our beloved Warcraft 3 scene. Today the time has come for Europe Apoc.BallerPoker to reveal themselves and start climbing up the ladder of competition and fame which both go in pair with high end Warcraft 3 gaming.

Found as United State- Apoc Gaming in 1999, the team was Starcraft only, playing on the US scene, mostly on Battle.net East. The team has not gone pro during that period but won some LAN tournaments and was a very active clan.

In 2003 the team moved to Warcaft 3. Recently they have focused on the European scene. As the CEO United State- Karan 'Source' Auhi figured out after playing a lot on Northrend, it would be best for the them to work with the Europeans.

What matters the most is that the team has gone totally professional today signing a sponsorship with www.BallerPoker.com. The poker community company has become a head sponsor of Apoc Gaming and thus the team received a new name: Apoc.BallerPoker, Apoc|BP| being the clan tag. The clan page is still under development and many other things still need a lot of care. As Karan says: 'I have 1000 things to do right now and we are all very excited!' Interesting thing is the fact, that the intention of this cooperation is to expose the Warcraft gaming community to poker and allow more players to try this game.

The team already takes part in several prestigous leagues such as WPL, NGL TWO and TFL. And, of course, it has some very well known names in its' current roster, especially Fury, Blade and Kot.

Here is the full line-up of Apoc.BallerPoker:

Sweden Orc Daniel 'madoka' Hermann
Sweden Undead Sebastian 'Fury' Pesic
Moldova, Rep- Human Vadim 'Blade' Gundiuc
Russian Fede- Human Vladimir 'BeckS' Skubko
Russian Fede- Nightelves Vitaliy 'KOT' Bikov
South Africa Human Caleb 'Reaver' Ridley
Russian Fede- Orc Vladislav 'Arxont' Nosik

Statement from CEO of www.BallerPoker.com:

Our intention is to help out WC3 players to become good poker players and be able to earn money out of it. We do this because we know that good strategy players have the basic skills to become good poker players as well. This has been shown many times with thousands of RTS gamers doing very well in the poker circuit. And with our help we believe we can produce many more poker professionals.

Statement from United State- Karan "Source" Auhi - CEO of APOC

This partnership with BallerPoker is a great way to start off with the team. I personally have looked into our players and selected the best, and we can only hope for the best results possible. We all put much effort in this team and I only hope the W3 community welcomes our new family into the professional gaming scene.

the source is the Apoc CEO, who gave an exclusive statement to myMYM.

And why is it such a random team? they have:
- fury (who was really good and who showed some good results lately)
- kot ( who did really good in NGL2)
- blade, arx0nt, becks can be decent players too...

Hey, it's true! I know a guy who went from playing wc3 (although he still does sometimes) to earning like 8000£ a month from poker : P

Although I fail to see how this will improve their wc3-skillz : /

Suprise and Terror!
