No more ESWC for former VP

What was once known to be the best DotA team in the world, Russian Fede- Virtus.Pro has recently signed with KingSurf Gaming. Unfortunately, with Light's departure they are no longer allowed to participate in ESWC. The Russian team won first place at the Russian ESWC Qualifiers with Nska, Vigoss, Jolie, LightOfHeaven and blowyourbrain.

According to ESWC rules, three of those players must be present at the Grand Finals in order for the team to participate. Recently there has been a lot of shuffling between the two teams; RuSh3D and Ks-International (VP). Nska left VP after they won ESWC to join Russian Fede- RuSh3D. Now LightOfHeaven has officially joined RuSh3D as well.

With Light's departure, this left Ks-International in an unfortunate situation. With two of their main ESWC players gone and blowyourbrain too young to participate in the Grand Finals, they are no longer able to play ESWC.

No disrespect to already qualified teams but not having these 3 highly top teams attending is gonna decrease the importance of such a big event.

Maybe organizers can come up with some solution to bend the rules a bit and allow, at least, KS^Int to participate and make a big last effort to help xcn get the visa

Agreed, MYM should be invited on grounds of being the organisation that pushed DotA to where it is today alone. Would DotA be in ESWC without all the PD and PN tours? Think again. Jolie vigoss smile are all players that made DotA so spectacular to watch and grew a huge fanbase, first huge international DotA shouldn´t be without them either. cant the players who won the qualifier just play as a mix or do contracts with their teams stand in the way with that?
i thought its the organizer of the qualifier who pays for the participation and not the team's sponsor.

Don´t compare russians to americans, please. And do not compare vigoss to light either. Vigoss can do pretty much everything, but he´s the greatest when it comes to fragging and dominating his opponents by sheer skill and understanding of the game. Light is the ultimate strategist, he´s unsurpassed when it comes to macro, and he´s one of the best micro players aswell, even though everyone knows farming is easy, killing is hard. As you see, two totally different players. But russians have respect for 2 things in dota, killing and strategy, hardly anything else. And Vigoss and Light are the epitome of one of those things each. With the global warming, I heard blond is the new latino..

Well, ESWC is gonna be a great tournament...even without MYM, VP an XcN... It's like any other great tournament, it has its own magic...
