Lloth: It was hard to qualify for WC3L

Yesterday evening, Poland PGS Warcraft III squad managed to qualify for the upcoming WC3L season XIV tournament.

On the other hand, the Polish-based team hasn’t shown good results at NGL-One recently, being ranked 9th, at the time being.

We caught up with the team manager, Jaco ‘Lloth’ van Dijk to ask him about the recent changes in the team, their NGL-One performance and his opinion about the imminent WC3L.

myMYM.com: Congratulations on qualification for the WC3L. How do you feel about this re-qualification? Was it hard to achieve?

Lloth: Of course it was hard, from the beginning we knew there will be some teams that could give us a hell of a time. It’s not easy to be pointed out the favorite of the match because it builds up pressure. Before the qualification matches start, we discussed the situation and decided to stick together even if we couldn’t qualify and try to improve the team together.

myMYM.com: We’ve seen a lot of changes in the team’s roster recently. Any particular reason for that?

Lloth: The road to perfection is a bumpy and hard one.

myMYM.com: You're currently ranked 9th at NGL one, what has gone wrong during this season?

Lloth: At the beginning of the season we underwent a lot of roster changes which affected our results, clearly. We removed and added some players and as you can see, our results have improved a lot. We’ve won the critical matches, which will guarantee our survival in NGL-One.

myMYM.com: What do you think about the upcoming WC3L? What can you achieve there?

Lloth: It’s hard to predict to be honest, there are some issues unsolved. Against teams like MYM, SK, WE, Mouz and even mTw, we are an underdog, that’s clear and simple; however, we are more than able to steal points from them. As for wNv, Gravitas and aTTaX, I predict very close matches. BET and DoOrDie are hard to rate because we are not even sure if they will show up at the next WC3L. If they don't, it would mean that Raptor and nWo will get the spots and against those two, we’ve already won during the qualification.

myMYM.com: You've recently added United Kingd- Human Demuslim to your roster who has shown acceptable results, so far. Do you think he can keep going like that? And do you see him as one of your key players at the upcoming WC3L season?

Lloth: Well, Ben has rescued the team during tough times, already. He has scored some really critical points in our qualification matches against nWo and Raptor and that shows that he’s a reliable player. He’ll be used in time, for sure. On the other hand, every player is a key player in our team and we want to keep it that way so that the atmosphere remains friendly among the players.

myMYM.com: Thanks for your time.

Shriek was inactive but that was like a few months ago, when he started playing again he got some really nice results (like beating BET|FoV in ngl one and some other respectable players) but now his shape seems to be a little worse.

He does the same in almost every NGL match, he picks LT and goes for mass expansions/towers. Btw, Human is not imba and I'm not a whiner! xD
