Zonerank has solidified its place as the number #1 ranking system for the games of Counter-Strike and Warcraft III. The top 8 placings in CS share a prize purse of $10.000 while there is a $500 prize for the top placing Wc3 player. Today we look at July's ranking.
Our
MeetYourMakers Counter-Strike has slipped down to 8th position from their original 6th place. This comes as the team did not attend the WSVG Louiseville event where quite a few teams placed well and therefore solidified a stronger ranking. This will however not deter the team as the ESWC Finals are only two days away where the world's best will be battling it out for the coverted prize, and will also drammatically affect the ZoneRank rankings.
MeetYourMakers Warcraft III has dominated the rankings as
MYM]Moon continues to extend his lead. The recent Dreamhack Summer 2007 event, where our Warcraft III squad destroyed the opposition, has considerably affected the rankings as Moon is now an incredbile 46 points ahead of his closest rival.
MYM]Lucifer has held his 5th place, while
MYM]Susiria is confortable in 8th place. The ESWC Finals could definately bode well for these players as they can place well and catapult themselves into higher placings on the ranking table.
Counter-Strike:
| Teams | Points | Cash | |
| 1. | PGSPokerStrategy | 144 | 3.500$ |
| 2. | fnatic | 103 | 2.000$ |
| 3. | SK-Gaming | 86 | 1.400$ |
| 4. | NiP-Gaming | 83 | 900$ |
| 5. | mibr | 75 | 700$ |
| 6. | 69N-28E | 59 | 500$ |
| 7. | ALTERNATE aTTax | 54 | 350$ |
| 8. | MeetYourMakers | 45 | 150$ |
The battle continues between PGS and fnatic as they have once again changed places. SK-Gaming has made its way into the rankings after its WSVG Louisville performance, while mibr has slipped down to 5th as they wait for the ESWC Finals. 69N-28E has moved up a spot after their WSVG Louisville win while Team3D has been knocked off the top 8 list as they continue to participate in the Source driven tournament of the CGS.
Warcraft III:
| Players | Points | Cash | |
| 1. | MYM]Moon | 176 | 500$ |
| 2. | WE.IGE.Sky | 130 | - |
| 3. | 4K^ToD | 100 | - |
MYM]Moon and WE.IGE.Sky continue to maintain solid performances and have kept their respective placings. 4K^ToD however has knocked WE.IGE.ReMinD off the top 3 list as his win at the Blizzard European Finals launched him from last months 9ths place and now into third place.
On behalf of all of us at MeetYourMakers.com, we would like to congratulate our players for reaching such heights, and once again proving they are the best at what they do.
