With both WGTCL and iCC-CL on a break, MYM's very own StarCraft-team hasn't got much to do these days. Now, it's never good to leave StarCraft-players without anything to do, so the Team Manager, Markus 'MaX' Kemper has arranged some friendly matches that the team can play.

The first of those matches will see MYM.sc go up against one of the best SC-nations outside Korea, namely Poland. Home to players like Dreiven*, Draco (though not playing for the Polish national team since 2006, so we won't see him here) and LRM)MIStrZZZ, Poland will sure be a worthy challenge for the MYM.SC-team. The games will be played on Sunday the 25th of May, at 17:30 CET.

The managers of the two teams have not agreed on a specific number of games, but to give the audience some real action, they have agreed to play at least 6 matches of 1on1 and 2 matches of 2on2. The starting map will be Python, then loser’s pick from the current iCCup map pack, while the format will probably be 5 1v1 and 1 2v2 games. Each player/players will be asked to play a Best of 3 series.

We are currently working on a solution that will allow a Polish host to videostream some of the games. We will of course update this news once we have more information about the matter.

Two sides will meet on 17th of February, meaning Sunday at 15h CET, so stay tuned as the results will be updated as soon as the first gamer touches the ground.
