[PDL] Participating teams announced

PDL - Prime Defending League

Prime Defending, also known by its alias PriDe, is without a doubt the world’s biggest and most famous DotA tournament. Now Prime Defending gets a new big brother, we proudly present what will be the world’s most prestige full DotA league: Prime Defending League (PDL)

Prime Defending League (PDL) will consist of the 12 best teams in the world, of which 6 have been directly invited for the first season of PDL. The remaining 6 teams has been found via Prime Defending #10, which served as the qualifier for PDL.

The original invited teams included Russian Fede- Virtus.Pro, but due to multiple violations of the rules, the team has been excluded from PDL. Instead the tournament organizers have decided to include the Indonesian team Indonesia XcN in the invitees.

The invited teams:

  • Denmark MYM
  • Malaysia KS
  • Sweden SK
  • Indonesia XcN
  • Ukraine WG
  • Romania TeG

The Qualified teams:

  • Slovak Republic SGC (3rd place)
  • Denmark Met (4th place)
  • United States x6 (5-6th place)
  • Sweden Mouz (5-6th place)
  • Sweden Q (7-8th place)

The place indicates what place the team finished at in Prime Defending 10. The last team in Prime Defending League will have to be determined from a tie breaker, as Norway Avid, France srs and Canada swift were knocked out at the same place.

More info regarding the rules, the schedule and the extra qualification will be revealed soon. To read more about the league and its prizes, please refer to the original newspost which can be found here: TeG last team invited for Prime Defending League!

Nah,i think the host in which the two team play matters most. Skillwise, i think all teams are about as good with their own style of play. It is only fair to say which team is best for sure from a LAN tourney. I would think when it comes to it though, either xcn or ks is the best =)

TO VP: What happened to your team at the MYM Pride 10? Why all ended so dramatically for your team?

Vp reply: Nothing much has happened. We simply don't perceive Prime so seriously as this requires us on myMYM. Therefore, we didn't follow their rules.

As you can see, Vp don't give a shit about mym prime. There are lots of other tournaments which can be even better then mym prime.
