Razer sponsors TSL
The TeamLiquid StarLeague needs no introduction, only praising. Something was supposed to bring life back into the StarCraft community and the TSL perfectly filled the role, awaking legends and casual players alike. The $10.000 prize pool did miracles when it comes to the competition level, so we witnessed the big names in the non-Korean scene taking part.
Players like 
Mondragon, 
Draco, 
Strelok, White-Ra, 
Nony or 
Iefnaij, they all gave competitive StarCraft a breath of fresh air, along with the TSL and iCCup managers.
Just now, 
Manifesto7 announced that after many rounds of negotiations, they reached an agreement with Razer. What exactly happened there? Well, Razer agreed to be the official sponsor for the TSL, meaning that they will cover the full prize pool, as well as the streaming costs.
This is a major step for the non-Korean StarCraft community, and hopefully this great event will serve as an example to other companies willing to sponsor our competitive scene. For more information, check out the link below.
