zet doing a 1.6-comeback

The relatively famous Counter-Strike celebrity Sweden Marcus "zet" Sundström, who is currently playing Counter-Strike Source for LA compLexity in Championship Gaming Series, has revealed over at Fragbite that he is striving for a comeback onto the Swedish Counter-Strike 1.6 scene.

Marcus left Sweden and Ninjas in Pyjamas approximately 1½ year ago to play under Jason Lake's management. This is the short commentary that zet wrote on Fragbite:

"I am coming home after I'm done playing in CGS. If there is a team that wants me, then you'll all be seeing me playing CS 1.6 once again,"

However, Jason Lake mentioned that Marcus won't be leaving the team until January 2009. On the other hand, Jason isn't blaming Marcus for wanting to do a comeback - he has been away from his family and friends for a long time.

Jason also mentioned that the coL lineup will be playing some competitive 1.6 this year, just hasn't said what tournament/leagues they will be playing in.

I wouldn't say that :) I think most comebacks weren't given enough time but zet's case is diffrent he is still playing CS at a high level just not 1.6 :D

I don't know if he should bother returning to 1.6, comebacks rarely work out as intended. Maybe he would be better joining a EU franchise instead if he just wants to be back at home? :P
