The TSL scandal: MIStrZZZ off the hook

A few days ago, a scandal regarding Poland Protoss MIStrZZZ erupted in the foreign scene: it appears that the Polish Protoss player was suspected of drophacking in a game against the American Protoss player United State- Protoss G5 in TeamLiquid Starleague which is sponsored with 10 000$ in total!

After many hours of replay analysis and debates, the TSL crew along with the iCCup admins, decided that MIStrZZZ was guilty and therefore he was banned from the league.
However, after another set of analysis with the help of BWChart, it was proven that in fact MIStrZZZ could not have used the drop glitch:

“MIStrZZZ has a stream of actions all occuring at one time during the replay: 7298, when he shift deselected and selected probes. Obviously, this is physically impossible to do. After testing this same situation on the iCCup server, we have determined that the clustering of actions occurs as a result of the lag screen popping up. The actions you were performing immediately before the lag screen comes up show up at the same time on the replay actions list, as it did for MIStrZZZ here at 7298.
MIStrZZZ also had two shift-deselect actions at 7290 and 7294, which supports the idea that he was not exploiting the drop bug, because he was in the middle of a stream of actions. Thus, it is impossible that MIStrZZZ used the drop exploit.”

After uncovering this new piece of evidence, the TSL staff publicly apologized to MIStrZZZ for the inconvenience caused and they lifted the ban from his account:

“Due to this new evidence, we have decided to reinstate Mistrzzz back into the TSL. TeamLiquid would like to apologize to Mistrzzz about this incident. Also, we would like to thank him and the iCCup admins for helping us solve this problem, everyone was very mannered during the live discussion.”

After MIStrZZZ was banned a couple of months ago already from the MYM KOTH powered by ESL TV, and after that also from several clanleagues lige WGTour Clanleague, it is the second time that this man is in the spotlight.

Again a wrong decision by admins. Imo players who are maybe guilty for something should be suspended first and after some hours/days thinking banned when it is clear that this guy cheated or be freed of this suspection.

The e-sport community should take a look at the real sports community where things like these are better solved.

well there are many cases in real sports that are also bad - for example in athletics many times it happened someone fails at the random doping test because it showed presence of something illegal, while in reality they just ate/drank something that causes the level of something to rise in their blood and make it look like they are using something illegal.

imo he should be unbanned from any tournaments where he participated in, because there is no 100% proof that he hacked. mistrzzz isn't exactly the mannered boy next door, but his skill is undenyable.

imo, he is the one who should be giving conditions due to being banned for nothing. apology would be a good start :)

Nah, I am not SC player (and never was), didn't know that there is someone else with that nick.

Mistrz is just pretty popular in Poland because of his funny behaviour :D
