Sunday, 30 March – After months of speculation from the Call of Duty 4 scene, MeetYourMakers have today announced that they have decided to delve into the Call of Duty 4 scene, and have picked up the former line-up of TheLastResort.

The team have gone from strength-to-strength in the past couple of months, managing to place second at the Crossfire Devotii Challenge 4 LAN event a few weeks ago in Enschede, Holland, losing to fnatic in overtime. A couple of weeks later, the team managed to achieve another second place standing, this time at the recently held Multiplay i33 event in Newbury, England, where they lost to Team Dignitas in the final.

The line-up consists of five players, all ranging from the UK region, and are now known as one of the best teams in the Call of Duty 4 scene. All five of the players have a sufficient knowledge of the game and its community, as they hold a lot of history individually in the Call of Duty series.

The two brothers of the team, LoOkzor and SoCLoN are known as the front runners for the line-up, and have been playing in the Call of Duty series together for a long time. Both are key players in the team, and with SoCLoN’s great sniping abilities, they are definitely two players any team would want for their own. The next player is Mark, the third longest-serving member of the team. He is a consistent fragger and seems to have his moments in every game he plays, making him a top individual for the team. Last but not least is stat and D1ablo, who have played with each other quite regularly in the past. These two under-rated players recently proved themselves worthy of being in the line-up, after strong performances at the CDC4 and i33 LAN events.

Then there is Morg, who joins up as the team’s manager. Morg comes from 4Kings, where he managed their Call of Duty 4 team, and did various bits of work for the management. Morg has great experience in tournament admin jobs, as he recently helped run the Call of Duty 4 tournaments at CDC4 and i33 LAN events. He has also helped develop the rule set being used by the European CoD4 scene, and is regarded as a high profile figure in the CoD scene.

As for Call of Duty 4, this can be seen as a big step, as yet another top G7 organization steps foot in the community, and we hope that the team can carry on their strong offline and online performances under the MYM tag.
