Every now and than the admins over at GGC choose a figure in the community as the featured gamer! This time they chose the captain of  MYM.DotA,  Jacob "Maelk" Toft-Andersen. Maelk explains his ultimate goal in life which is, continue to work with e-sports and hopefully pursue a career within the MYM organization!

In the interview he talks about his personal life, how he got into gaming and how he feels about GGC and current tournaments.

Hi there Maelk, we're really glad to have you here with us now. Let's start with an introduction from you.

Hi there! I'm a happy, careless and lazy guy from Denmark. I live here with my girlfriend through 3 years and every morning I wake up, I really thank god I have her. I wouldn't be able to play DotA, or even be alive, without her!


How long have you been into gaming? Particularly how long have you been in the competitive gaming scene?

I've played ever since my aunt gave me 'Red Alert' for my birthday. Competitively, though, I started out with a bit of CS but eventually gave it up for Warcraft III and devoted most of my team playing for Boomtown Odense. One day, we picked up DotA as a form for relaxation in between games, and found ourselves addicted to the game right away and it started from there.
