Winners played the strat exactly right. Heroes in the middle, summons and medium armor mercs at the sides. Completely impenetrable for a raider army : P Suprise and Terror!

(last year)  #18 Contrail   That seems to be why most Korean / Chinese ORCs are using a different style now. They basically aim to get to 50 pop as quick as they can and then look to fight the enemy focusing on their units. This means the NE army never gets big enough that they can sit in a choke point and block any surrounding speed charge from ORCs. That was the perfect battle from Soccer on EI in Grubbys base which is why he can win with an a lot smaller army. Tinker / BM / high lvl DH can soak basically the entire damage output of the ORC army which means their dotts are dealing maximum damage instead of running and repositioning to avoid raiders non-stop.

I watched both the xLo and zotac finals.. considering the first one it was an easy game for grubby, i didn't see him getting much in troubles winning the games vs Satiini; not the same thing for the zotac final against Winners, who really put Grubby in troubles using a mass druids of talon: Grubby understood he should have gone for base rush and he achieved in that few times, but overall he did not win. it was really good games by grubby anyway.
