Earlier today e-Stars made it official that some changes have been made for the event better known as the e-Stars Continental Cup. It will be traditionally held in Seoul at the end of this year's summer. Among other things, the organizers have decided to increase the slots of their Counter-Strike tournament by adding two extra teams, which results in six teams in total.
However, all the teams won't be playing against each other. In this year's edition the teams will be facing new settlements - East will be playing against West. Unfortunately, more information considering the new establishment hasn't been realased. New prize-money has also been added to the Counter-Strike 1.6 tournament, being up to $75,000. StarCraft has been rejected and will no more be prioritized.
Teams that will be attending are not determined at present time, however, it will be concluded partly by the community's votes. Opinions of eight specially selected people who have big experience in eletronic sports will carry a great weight on the team selections.
More information can be found on e-Stars homepage (written in Korean).
