MYM.cs - Enter the Asylum - The fanmovie
Rumors have spread like rings in the water the past weeks, but now it's official and it's released, MYM.cs - Enter the Asylum, the movie. Instead of making a huge news about it, I will let the producer have the word for a minute and let the facts speak for themselves.
The producer of the movie,
Morten "F5|Minatory" Møllgaard, had a few things he wanted to mention:The thing I personally think of as the trademark of this movie is the tempo. There is hardly any point in the movie where you have to sit and merely observe a player running around, something is always happening, it always has tempo. I have gone to great lengths to sync the movie well, so what happens on screen always fit the music. Just adding a lot of special effects into the movie isn't exactly my style and therefore, I only added effects where they would fit. I didn't add too many, I didn't want to give of the impression that the movie was made to show effect, I wanted to give the impression that the movie was made to show frags in a cool way.

sry to say but i wouldŽt call it the fan movie. sry to say but, the movie is not good at all. he got menny frags in it yes but thats all. the timing is pretty much bad, effects are totaly rowend, and some music are not good at all. let me give you some eksampels.
first off all you need time to watch several demos, to remember your timing writh them down, and writhe eksampelts and ideas down. if you watch your movie, again plz notice the end for evry chapter there is black and silet. i thougt it was over.. to have cool music you need to see how fast the movie is exsample: you are not putting puff the magic dragon song in to a fast movie. and no heavy metal in slow motion movies thats all wrong and the movie will be pretty fast boring. you are writhing about special effects.. hmm where are they??? i wouldent call them for special at all. put some time in you work instad of making 200+ meg of movie with alot of unhelpfull stuff. then instead use menny hours to make a short but good movie.. i hope some of my ideas will help you making better media in the future. keep on i usen menny years learning and making.. #55 I have to answer you on your examples:
I've spend more than 50 hours watching demos, finding frags and writing down what I should do about them. I've made the movie and frags after music I founded usefull for a cs-movie. There is not alot of slowmotion in it - it's the opposite (higher speed). Listen carefully when you watch it, and then spot that the music actually fits with what is happening up there on the screen! I was writing that I did not wanted to use special effects. You wish for me to lay more time in my work of this movie, I wish for you to lay more time to watch it and write stuff that is not inpropriate. | |

Well, I've found the fault... Normally i use firefox... Must have been some kind of fault in firefox, cause when i tried to download with explore, it showed a winrar file just as it should.. :s I'm dl'ing now, looking forward to see it... My m8 told me my name got showed in the move :)

Know the feeling... Im at that point too.
However, i am hoping for, maybe, a second mirror or something since this site/file/_W_ is causing a lot of trouble for some of us... Will you consider it? Btw, mine says corrupt file, and that it might be damaged. Even after several downloads! | |

Fucking second time i downloaded it! This time the file was damaged like "agni and Oz" said. With 30kb/s I've wasted 3 hours. Really frustrating, fix fix ffs!
