Regroup Events to host AWL European qualifiers REVEALED

With Regroup Events Aps in partnership with the AWL, myMYM.com is pleased to announce that we will be hosting the European qualifiers for the fourth season.

A total of 32 players have been invited to partake in this tournament. These players who hail from all parts of Europe, have been split into 8 groups of 4. The emerging 2 players of each group will then duke it out in a single elimination round until 4 players are left, who will be qualified to compete in the fourth season of AWL.

To spice things up a little, we will be unveiling 1 player per group in every alternative day, so be sure to hold your horses everyday!

The games will take place from March 1-2, 2008. Games will be broadcasted live on WaaaghTV! and replays can be downloaded right here at myMYM.com.

It is a shame it is single elimination, gaurantees some favourites will miss out. Hopefully they will be a best of 5.

Thats the Korean event and I see no reason why it should be related in any way to this one. That's Korean, this is European. 2 distinct things if you ask me.

Season 4 is also including the Korean players (that have to qualify too), so why would they launch the qual for the 4th season while the 3rd season hasn't even started yet?

I said.. European awl has NOTHING in common with Korean one apart from format. Unless what u are trying to say that in the future AWL will contain both type of players European and Korean i see no logic :).

well i see only 4 groups so far.. so guessing in other unexisting groups is very hard :P but how many players have 3 character name and reputation/skill to compete in this kind of event :)
