It is with great pleasure that we can announce a new player for our already star-packed Warcraft III team. The player is none other than the king of Orcs, also known as Manuel ‘Grubby’ Schenkhuizen, who until yesterday played under the flag of the British Team Four Kings.

Manuel was chosen 4 times as Most Valuable Player in the WC3L, has received 2 eSports WC3 Player of the Year awards and one eSports Player of the Year award in 2006.

With first places in prominent events like WCG, ESWC, Blizzcon, the WSVG, Extreme Masters, Warcraft 3 World War, the World E-Sports Festival etc. and he is without a doubt one of the most famous players in the world.

Coming along with him is his girlfriend Cassandra, who most of you probably know from her photography, reporting and blogging acitivities, which she now will continue here at myMYM.

Statement from Manuel ‘Grubby’ Schenkhuizen on his team change:

When I learned that 4K.wc3 will disband, I was looking for a new home. I don't make such decisions lightly, and I had a very clear vision of what I was looking for. I talked around a bit and some promising ideas came up. However, I wasn't prepared for this offer from a surprising corner. When the CEO of MYM expressed interest to talk to me, I was interested to hear what they could offer me. A very pleasant meeting developed into something substantial overnight. Sometimes good decisions are made fast, and that's what happened in this case. I am very happy with the opportunity that MYM has given me, and I enter the team with an expectation of myself to improve a lot. I hope that I can do well and live up to everyone's standards (most of all my own), but also just to have fun and enjoy working together with the people at MYM. I am happy that Cassandra was also able to come with me over to MYM. She will be attending tournaments together with me, as well as having a job in her own right in regards to reporting, coverage, photography, blogging, and more.

Statement from MYM WC3 manager Jesper ‘Nordahl’ Henriksen:

The name Grubby has always been synonymous with the Four Kings team and it has been hard to imagine the name going together with anything else, but today we encourage the use of people’s imagination when we announce the addition of our newest player. Grubby will, starting today, play for the MYM WC3 squad. The MYM team has been a successful one and we hope that with this addition we will be even more successful in the future. We aim to be the best, a goal I'm sure Grubby can attest to and will do everything in his power to help obtain. So join me in a warm welcome to our newest member: MYM|Grubby.

Statement from assistant WC3 manager Matthias ‘losemann’ Beyer:

Today I got a new player for the team. It is one of the best gamers in the World, namely Grubby. Manuel will be in our team for helping us to reach our goals. Since we do not have that much experience in winning the WC3L, we needed a man who can help us and the choice was Grubby! I am really really happy that we now have another Orc King. The team is in a time of restructuring, but everything step by step. I would like to wish Manuel a great time in MYM and I would like to thank my CEO, for being a great person. Watch out for the Dutch King!

I am really surprised that Grubby is joining up with us, this means that we now really have the best shot on becoming NGL and WC3L champions. I really look forward seing him playing for MYM and I hope he will do well in MYM. Welcome Grubby!
