New Korean president loves eSports
His name is 
Lee Myung-bak - in Korean: 이명박 - and he was born on 19th of December, 1941 in Osaka, Japan. He was mayor of Seoul, known for his controversial policy, and just yesterday he "received" a very special birthday present as he was elected as the new president of Korea. Only 62,9% of the 37 Million people in Korea made their vote but anyways, Lee Myung-bak was able to receive over 50% of all of the votes in total.
You might ask now, what happened to myMYM? Since when are they so political, does Mercy want to run for President of the US and A? No, the special thing about this news is that Lee Myung-bak is considered to be a guy like me and you - yes, he is a real eSports fanatic, he especially loves StarCraft Broodwar.
Back in 2003 when the World Cyber Games were held in Seoul in South Korea, it was no one else than him who opened the WCG on the first day, but he was still not satisfied and challenged the former StarCraft progamer 
OgOgO on the WCG stage for a showmatch. Let me refresh your memory, it was no one else then Ogogo who won the finals against 
Fisheye and the whole WCG tournament later. Actually, the new Korean president took this showmatch quite seriously and practised for one month each day one hour in his office. Sadly he lost within five minutes against the progamer.
Apart from all the political issues, isn't the election of Lee Myung-bak a good choice for eSports in Korea?

practice an hour each day for a month and get pwned in 5 minutes by a progamer xD
nevertheless, what he did here was ensure the young people's votes and get seen as "a man of the people", with simple hobbies like any other korean citizen. if he's into starcraft, the ministry of culture might benefit from this, but he must know how to lead a country, not how to micro :D Lee Myung-bak fighting ^^ I'll be nicer when you're smarter.
