Team NoA merges with mTw

Surprisingly the Danish powerhouse Denmark Team NoA merges with the German traditional multigaming organization Germany mTw, in order to enter a cooperation to loom large for both parties.

Furthermore, the NoA's Counter-Strike division is going to join ranks of the German organization as well as Germany NoA's owner, namely Lars Eiben, will replace the current CEO of mTw, Germany Mirko Scharping. In addition, Denmark Martin "guddo" Cording becomes the general manager in the future.

Moreover, according to Cording, the successful Danish eSport company is going to change name into NoA e-Sport in near future and will focus on new exciting categories such as Skateboarding and BMX, all in one linked with Extreme Sports as the new topic, nevertheless, attention will still be drawn to the electronic athletes, yet as third priority.

Below you can find the statement:

The year 2007 comes to an end soon and everybody can expect a lot of new things next year – same for Team NoA. After countless meetings and a long period of planning we are able to announce the merge of Team NoA with the German organization of mTw. In fact this means that beside our famous Danish Counter-Strike team also parts of the editorial staff and the management will team up with mTw to concentrate their skills and experience.

We want to pay special attention to Lars Eiben who is basically known for running Team NoA. He will replace the current CEO of mTw, Mirko Scharping, next year and a newly-formed label is going to be the clan`s core whereas the current spine still will be the spine in the future. However Mirko Scharping says goodbye to the esport scene as he needs to focus on new duties and responsibilities. We wish him good luck with his new projects.

Sure many of you will ask themselves what exactly is going to be changed now. What we can tell you is that our tenth anniversary is coming up next year. That`s why we will be having a big mTw-party soon – more details will be published in near future. Besides that we will change many of the basic principles like adaption of current concepts or completely new ones.

Just to exclude all rumors: The new mTw will host two Counter-Strike teams, first of all the Danish team as international representative, secondly a German team which will represent mTw in the next season of the ESL Pro Series. Furthermore we will also continue our work with the German Counter-Strike Source Team. However there will be some changes in our teams.

mTw's Danish Counter-Strike division consists of the following players:

Denmark Brian 'hpx' Christensen
Denmark Danny 'zonic' Sørensen
Denmark Muhamed 'mJe' Eid
Denmark Alexander 'ave' Holdt
Denmark Christoffer 'Sunde' Sunde
