Tuesday 12^th December 2007 - Clouds darken the sky over MeetYourMakers banner, a major change is undergoing the Danish organization. MYM releases its mainly Norwegian-based Counter-Strike division with immediate effect.

An era was stopped, even before it could develop. Through the past months, the community witnessed several roster changes affecting the team as a whole. Their performance struggled under the, unfortunately, everlasting process of new players joining the ranks of our Counter-Strike team as well as leaving time and time again.

Finally, when Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund had been signed by his former team SK-Gaming again, our roster was in low spirits, lacking in continuousness and motivation were the consequences.

“Everything comes to an end and now it´s time for our dear Norwegian players to move on. I personally want to thank each one for a lovely time and a lot of smiles. I´ll always remember you guys and take care out there and we´ll hopefully meet up for some beers and some laughs in events in the future. Yours sincerely, Daniel "Papa Nostra" Thornell.”

The management decided to stop this status quo, which actually lasted for too long now, as a result the organization parts ways with the Counter-Strike squad, and wish all of them the best of luck in the future.

In addition for those of you who wanted to know why Svanevik got hospitalized for more than three weeks - he had a blood infection and pneumonia.

“Our time in MYM is over, and it has been a great time... MYM is by far the best organisation I have worked for, and we would like to thank the organisation for what they have done for us... The team will be playing the EM with a slightly different lineup, but nothing too serious.. GG mym, it has been a good time.”

Statement from Preben “prb” Gammelsæter:

“After a long time of membership in the MYM squad, the time has come to go different ways. We've had our ups and downs some time now, people losing motivation, and with that a lot of lineup changes making it hard to perform as well as we had hoped to. I want to send a big thanks to MYM for having us, it's been a great time. I would also like to thank our fans for supporting us through thick and thin. It's been alot of fun. The best of luck to MYM in the future, and we will probably meet again in the field someday.”
