*WC3L - MYM vs. 4K - 3:2
This weekend was full of Warcraft 3 action, as two of our players participated at the GAMEX event which took place in Moscow. After some great matches our Korean Nightelfstar Jang JaeHo, who is better known as 
MYM]Moon, was able to win the tournament by defeating wNv.FoV in the Grand Finals.
Now it is time for some team action, as our International Warcraft 3 team faces the players from 
4Kings.Intel. Last time when we met them, our team wasn't able to secure the victory and therefore our players are more than eager to fight against 4Kings.Intel. The 4Kings team contains some great players such as 
4K^Grubby or 
4K^ToD, who are without a doubt two of the best players from Europe.
Even though 4Kings.Intel didn't have a good start into the new WC3L Season, this match won't be easy for us and therefore our players around their team manager 
MYM]Nordahl will give more than a hundred percent to secure the victory.
If you don't want to miss some great Warcraft 3 action, in which players like MYM]Susiria, MYM]Lucifer or MYM]Storm take part, than make sure that you have time to watch the clash of the titans between 4Kings.Intel and MeetYourMakers.
The match starts Monday the 12th of March at 17:00 CET!

Pre-Match Comment:
MYM vs. 4K has developed to be quite a classic in the WC3L with us facing each other in the grand final 3 times in a row and hence it seems that it has developed to be quite a prestigouos thing to win this match. Ofcourse we aim to win every match, but no doubt we are even more prepared when facing a top team, and after our loss to WE we are very eager for a win in a top match. |
Hello guys/girls, Lucifer here. Today we have a match against 4K, which, as everyone knows, is a really great team. This time we want the revenge and therefore we will do our best in todays match. Thanks for supporting us and now let us all cross our micro fingers and pray for the best outcome possible. |

I don't know anything about the 2on2, but i guess they had to ff because ToD is in China again or something like that.

As if ToD being in China would be a reason for not even trying to play.. and as I know mannered MYM, they would have accepted to change ToD with Creo or Zeus.

Okay, i got it: 4K.Grubby says: Basically MYM postponed moon's match and we were ok to play it, but when we postponed our 2v2 there was magically no way available for MYM to play that match =) when tod & me were ready to play sunday after EM/SEC lucifer was 'on a date', and they wouldn't replace Luci by moon to have moon/susi. Also, we weren't allowed to replace tod by creo unfortunately. GGClient being down, there is no way tod with chinese internet could play on BNet on the day itself which led to the postponing. WC3L, holding an ESL event (EM) also didn't allow to lengthen the usual playday period beyond sunday (which is the actual last playday of EM). So basically there was no time window and MYM made sure to get moon's match done first, and THEN to announce 2v2 won't be played. Otherwise perhaps creo would also magically have been 'unavailable on a date' and it might maybe have been very hard for MYM to find a scheduling date for that 1v1 also Now i'd really like to read a MYM-statement. I said: As I don't expect Grubby would purposely lie, or that it is with bad intend Grubby's statement is inaccurate, I must conclude that his facts are somehow wrong. First of all 4K forfeited the match to begin with. To my astonishment the admins decided to postpone the match to try and convince them to play it at a later date. I couldn't believe this when I first heard it as this to me sounds like special treatment for 4K, and basically it is giving them a second chance to reconsider their choice. I don't believe admins should be allowed to do this as to me it seems very much biased, but they did noone the less. I don't get why Grubby even expect to play the match when it was forfeited by his team. I was waiting all week while 4K was away playing the tournament in Germany, basically held hostage in front of the computer waiting for an admin or a representative from 4K to come online and talk about this match that the admins had postponed, no one came, until Sunday afternoon where Hotlips contacted me on behalf of Creo to have his match played. First of all I thought it was pretty shitty to have to play a match with no notice, and with no advanced warning to search for a host, but luckily a good host was available so we agreed to play his match. After the match Hotlips asked if we can play the 2on2 (keep in mind that the 2on2 was not mentioned before this as Grubby's statement suggest). I then asked Susiria if he and Lucifer was avaible to play (eventhough we actually believed that we shouldn't be made to since 4K already forfeited it). Susiria then told me that Lucifer had made plans with his (ex)girlfriend through 2 years to try and patch things up. I don't think anyone can contest his desire to do this, nor would anyone believe that it is fair to keep us as hostages all week and just expect us to be avaible on sunday when they decide they want to play a forfeited game. I don't know who told Grubby it was a date, but I don't feel it is fair that we put Lucifer's personal life under a microscope like this. We were then asked if we would be willing to replace Lucifer with Moon which we declined. The reason for this, as I know 4K was curious about it, was that we considered the combination we had choosen to have more experience playing together then they combination they suggested, thus being a weaker team. I hesitated to say this because I believe in not showing my hand and keeping this kinds of accessements internally, but I am telling it now to avoid being blamed for doing it to force the forfeited win. It ended up with the 2on2 not being played. Admins however still persisted in saying the game should be played, asking both sides for a statement on the matter, and concluded they still wanted the game to be played, but 4K never contacted us to set up a date and time for the match, so the admins finally gave us the win. I feel compelled to say that I never wanted this to go public as I think it reflects badly on some people and I never wanted that, but I cannot sit idle, when a statement with so many incorrect facts is released. Also I feel I should say that myself, and I know some of the pla Also I think I should talk about the manner issue which has arisen. First of all Susiria was extremely patient with his match vs. Fury, giving regames when asked to. I think people have come to known us as a team who likes to stay mannered and give regames and allow replacements when fair. The reason why we didn't want to have a replacement on the match day, was that Susiria could also not play on B.net, so it was not a question of refusing to let 4K replace, it was a question of refusing to play on B.net as a consequence of that. I line up my hair perfectly!

It's kina "nice" by the admins still to postpone it instead of making this 2 forfeit wins at the first hand... but it's really sad to see 4K crying about a game they already forfeited instead of suggesting a date when it could be played and blaming MYM for that one... - MYM FIGHTING -

they didn't forfeit two games. The forfeited the 2on2 and not more. The match between Creolophus and Moon was played last Saturday or Sunday and Moon won the match.

Of course I can't believe one person over the other concerning the statements. I personaly know neither person. However, 4K must have very little self-belief in their chances of making the finals if they are willing to simply just forfiet such a crucial game. Due to 4K's rational behaviour i slightly favour MYM.
