Neo Star League with MYM *

wc3

The gaming scene in China is growing exponentially, hence there are lots of new leagues and tournaments to be played. A new Chinese WarCraft III league has started some weeks back, 20th January. The name of the league is Neo Star League!

16 invited players participate in the NSL, among these are two of MeetYourMakers' stars: MYM]Lucifer and MYM]Moon. The league system is similar to that of many other Chinese leagues with its three stages and a bubble-up final bracket. The league is played online. All games in the two first stages are to be played with a best of three format, the final bracket games are to be played with a best of five format. The first stage consists of four groups with four players in each of them, from here two players from each group will move on to the second stage. The second stage is a double-elimination bracket. Once the second stage has been played four players will remain, all with their own rank. A fifth player is to be added to the finalists through a revival vote. The third and last stage of the league is a bubble-up bracket where the fifth ranked player, who was revived through a vote, will face the fourth ranked player, and the winner will then move on to face the third ranked player and so on until only one player remains.

i feel compelled to ask, what does the 88 in ur nick mean?
if at first you dont succeed, erase any trace that you tried

Well, in fact "ImmortalSoul" (without any number behind) is my favourite nick, but unfortunately I'm not the only one so on nearly every page it's already taken by someone else.
So i added the 88 (as my year of birth).

And I'm still too stupid to understand the NSL-page, otherwise I wouldn't have to ask everything here :-/

errm, I agree their tour formats are always weird, but most fun to follow in my opinion ^^
